Hard tip or soft tip
I've always played pool (8-ball reds and yellows) with cheap cues and i've always used ElkMaster or Blue Diamond tips. I've just bought a MasterCue with 8.5mm tip and it's fantastic but the tip is much harder than i'm used to and it feels a bit odd at the minute. I was intending to change the tip but i'm wondering if a hard tip gives more control and consistency. Just wondering what you guys think?....
