Mike Wooldridge cues

I play 8-ball pool (reds and yellows). Has anybody any info/advice/experience with Mike Wooldridge hand made cues? He has an impressive website and i'm tempted to go for something towards the lower end of his pricing - 150. If you have alternatives for around this price, i'd be interested to hear.

Thanks for the info, Paddy. Doing a bit of research now. The Mastercue range seem to be decent.

u wont be disappointed in the mastercue range!!!!! quality cues...... aint going to mention certain cue dealers but some of the top cuemakers use the likes of mastercue to build cues for them and they sell them on at twice the price......

i had an ex3 and it was a great cue.....

u may have to wait a bit if you order directly from mastercue itself or u could try www.greenbaize.com

email them and ask what they have in store

the guys name is stuart green

his prices are very, very good.....

Thanks for all the info, Paddy. Ordered a mastercue from Stuart today. I've only ever played with pretty cheap pub-type cues (30 - 40) to a decent-ish level, so this should be interesting - hoping the 8.5mm tip will allow me to do a bit more with the white ball - or at least do the same things with a bit less effort.

I ordered a PB2 pool(smaller tip and a slightly smaller shaft, I think) model - they don't have any EX's. He gave me a good price (including case) and changed the tip for a blue diamond
