“PROPOSED 9-BALL EVENT” ------ Home Nations Invitation 9-Ball Cup

I’m trying to set-up a “HOME NATIONS INVITATION 9-BALL CUP” with 5 aside teams representing England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland for Amateur 9-Ball Players.

Would anyone from the above Countries be interested in getting involved by picking their own team with Ireland’s American 8 & 9 Ball Pool Tour taking care of the Irish Team.

England would be the best place to hold the first event in 2014 with a venue close to a air-port if possible……………..and I propose each Country pays £500 per-team (5 aside teams) with all entry fees paid out in prize-money for both team and individual events….(all above is only a proposal)

Would like to hear feedback to see would it work with the above only being a proposal which could be held each year starting in 2014.

Invitation Nations 9-Ball Cup: ------ Irish 9-Ball Pool Players ------ www.rballsports.com

Ireland's American 8 & 9 Ball Pool Tour are asking all its members on the tour, who is interested in representing N.Ireland and Rep Of Ireland in the 2014 Invitation Nations 9-Ball Cup for Amateur players taking place from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th March 2014 held in England (venue & full details to be announced shortly).................at the minute with four teams confirmed there will be over £3,000 in prize-money for Team Event (6-Aside), Nations 9-Ball Individual Cup and Scotch Doubles.

This is only a new event we're trying to get off the ground with England A & B teams already confirmed along with N.Ireland & Rep Of Ireland and hopefully we can attract other Countries if not this year hopefully the following year.

Plans are nearly in place and we will be announcing full details very shortly as this post is only for all Irish players to show and confirm their interest but all players are reminded that a fair criteria will be put in place for team selection such as tour rankings, open qualifiers, and team selectors wild cards.

NOTE:
Can players please send me a private message if their interested as plans are well underway ................and only the players who makes contact will be considered.

“2014 EVENT” ------ Amateur Invitation 9-Ball Nations Cup

I advertised it away back that I was trying to set-up the following “PROPOSED 9-BALL EVENT” ------ Amateur Invitation 9-Ball Nations Cup and listed below is some brief details on the outcome.

I would like to thank both Andy Warden and Phil Wildman from the following English 9-Ball Pool Tours GB9 and Total9Ball for their support and help trying to make this event happen.

Andy kindly offered to include this proposed event as part of the GB9 Festival Of Pool on the Wednesday but this wouldn’t suit the Irish teams / players traveling due to work commitments etc so after long discussions by email with Phil Wildman we have agreed on the format and also agreed to hold the first event in London with Ireland staging the 2nd annual event in 2015..........................

POSTER:
We hope to have a tournament poster out over the next few days advertising this proposed event.

TEAMS:
We tried to attract teams from England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland but we couldn’t fill all Countries so for the first event the following Countries has confirmed entry, England A, Rep Of Ireland, England B, N.Ireland.

Both England teams will be selected by Phil Wildman representing Total9ball Tour and both Irish teams will be selected by Ronnie Boyle representing Ireland’s American 8 & 9 Ball Pool Tour.
