hiya billy all reports will be on the site from tomorrow on, event 6 and 7. If you require any information about the tour contact sam gibson.

I happened to be away at the scottish championships so I couldnt do anything until I got back.

I had emailed gareth to confirm this as i had to prepare for the event plus i had 5 matches in dublin to play in the league so i was pretty busy.

I also have been talking on the tours behalf to numerous venues for the 2011 season which i hope that the tournament director will be pursuing as there is alot of interest in having tournaments all over ireland.

cheers

paddy

Hi Billy,

What do you mean no one is updating the site? The results page was updated earlier today. As was the rankings, and pages for each of the new players that entered the Derry event last Saturday. On top of that there is a new page showing how everyone placed in each event this year. You did look at the site before posting?

So in short, new players can find out what is happening on the tour by looking at the website.

One thing we do have to update is the rules page, as for some reason the races have changed mid-season from 7 to 9.

You have to remember that the site is run voluntarily and the 3 guys working on it were brought in late, after others had made promises but didn't back them up with deeds. That said we keep it as up to date as we can and as Paddy mentioned, he emailed me last month to say that the reports for event 6 and next event (last Saturday) would be up on the site this week.

Hope that helps.

Hi Billy,

I was talking about [www.iapptour.com], not this site.

Thanks,

Gareth.

hi garth
did't know you work on both site's.
i now appreciate your hard work on both site's.
i just think there's a chance to bring 9ball back to life here.
because if it wasn't for the help of this site 9ball would be a memory.

thanks billy

ps.paddy it was still a good match to watch 8.8 and you go in off very unlucky m8.

Billy, behave yourself tongue sticking out smiley

I would've had the website updated already, but Gareth is the one who has created, organised and updates the on-site database for the results, rankings, etc thumbs up cool smiley

Paddy does a damn good job with the reports thumbs up cool smiley

And of course I do the housekeeping, adding any other info updates to the site homepage, any occasional editing that might need done or to upload any new pics or videos to the site's galleries cool smiley

And so as far as the site goes, it's very much a team effort and we're doing the best we can with what we've got smiling smiley

Cheers smileys with beer

Willie
