2007 European Pool Championships:
Date: August 01, 2006 09:12AM
Is there any members on Ireland's American 8 & 9 Ball Pool Tour interested in playing in the 2007 European Pool Championships.

The championships are advertised to take place in the Czech Republic from the 15th ---- 24th March 2007.

I think each Country is only allowed 5places in each event which is 8ball, 9ball and 14.1 in men, ladies and wheelchair categories.

I no these 2007 European Pool Championships are agood few Months away yet but im putting the places up for grabs to all the tour members and i hope to set-up some kind of fundraising events which will go towards the costs for all players going.

I will not be contacting anyone about this matter as its up to each individual to reply if interested by contacting 07776365059 or from Rep of Ireland (0044) 7776365059 or by emailing irelandsamericancuesports@yahoo.co.uk

The above information is based on a first come, first served basis and is only open to paid up members from the start of the year on Ireland's American 8 & 9 Ball Pool Tour.

Closing date for entries is the end of August 2006.

Sorry, if there is more players entered than we need we will be playing of for the right number of places needed.

We don't usually have this problem but the top three ranked players will be getting places (if they take them).

Whatever happens it will be done fairly so i would like to see all members making a efford in going.

wouldnt mind playing in the 8ball.......czech republic is very cheap to stay...outside of prague ..etc

my brother got married to a girl from outside prague (about 15 minutes away from it)....and to stay at the hotel was only 8 per night...no joking
needless to say the beer was VERY cheap too

(3). I will be setting up afew fundraising efforts for all the players that have there full entry fee paid to help everyone with the costs.

(4). The top three ranked players from both the 9ball & American 8ball official rankings plus the other players that replied or enquired inside the deadline by contacting me direct (stated above) will come from the following list of players.

Any idea of prices Ronnie? Would we have to stay in a certain hotel for example or can we decide our own arrangements? I'll speak to you on Saturday.
Cheers,
Stephen
