I think there should be a section on irish pool to tell u about tournaments coming up such as the norweigan open qualifier in london!!!! im sure a few of the lads would be interested in going!!!!

Pro9 Promotions is organising a local qualification tournament at Rileys Victoria on Saturday 1st July for one of the most prestigious tournaments in Europe: THE NORWEGIAN 9-BALL CHALLENGE 2006.

The entry fee to THE NORWEGIAN 9-BALL CHALLENGE 2006 is 140 and all entry fees will go to prize money, with a minimum of 128 participants, 10.000 is guaranteed for the first prize, with a total prize fund of 22.500.

The entry fee for the qualifier is just 25 and EVERY PENNY will go to the TWO qualifiers to cover entry, flights, hotel and expenses - the more entries, the bigger the prize fund, so enter AND bring a friend or two!!!

Tony "The Tornado" Drago, from Malta, and Imran Majid from Great Britain, who recently won the Eurotour in Italy have both registered, along with Ronnie O'Sullivan and Raj Hundal, and all are looking forward to their visit to Oslo this summer.

When this site was originally launched there was a section for all tournaments that were of interest to Irish players (including some Coolock, Club9 and BPPPA events). Since then the amount of websites I look after has increased dramatically, and unfortunately I'm finding I have even less time now, to spend on IrishPool.com.

The best way for anyone wishing to publicise an event in Ireland or overseas is to post it on the forum. I have no objection if people wish to 'bump' a thread to the top, to keep information about a forthcoming tournament high on the list of topics.
