There is a new website called DublinPool.com. As the name suggests it will carry News and Results of American Pool in the capital.

So for all the latest from the Cross-Border league (Dublin Divisions) check out www.dublinpool.com. Special thanks to Joe O'Driscoll for reports and results. Thanks also to overall league controller Ronnie Boyle.

Tonight is the final night for the 2 Dublin Leagues. Steve Kovacs has won League 1. It looks like coming down to racks difference between Gareth Deegan and Niall McDermott in League 2 (the easy one!) if they win their final matches tonight. Exciting stuff!

Well done Paul on your victory.

Congratulations to Gareth Deegan in winning Dublin League 2 by a single rack from Niall McDermott. Both Players played extremely well throughout, winning 6 out of 7 matches each.

Full results:

League 1

1st Steve Kovacs
2nd Joe O'Driscoll
3rd Dillon McCann

League 2

1st Gareth Deegan
2nd Niall McDermott
3rd Tommy Jin

The leagues have been very successful in promoting the game in Dublin with 17 players taking part and many expressing an interest in playing in more events in the near future.

Joe

I'd like to thank Joe O'Driscoll for his excellent managing of the two Dublin leagues. The scheduling was often difficult due to some players commitments but Joe made it look easy and ran everything to plan.

I'd also like to thank the staff of the Palace for their cooperation and support of the Leagues.
